Sightseeing Tour of Agadir – 1
31/2 hour tour round the points of interest of Agadir including the old Kasbah, the port, the Museum of Art and Popular Tradition, the Swiss Quarter, shopping district and Artisans’ Quarter where you can watch traditional leather, embroidery, lace and woodworking craft demonstrations. Time and day permitting, a visit to the souks may be possible before returning to your hotel. All in all, a good overview of Agadir and ideal for those who do not have the time to explore the city and surrounding at their leisure.

Sightseeing Tour of Agadir – 2
This shorter tour concentrates on the old and new facets of Agadir, from a visit to the few remains of the 16th century Kasbah, to the Talborjt Mosque and then on for a short stop at the souk and ending with a visit to the Boulevard of the Cornice. Altogether 2 1/2 hours which is mostly spent in the car with only about a half kilometre of walking making this a good choice for those with small kids.

Explore the Souss Massa National Park, a bird watchers paradise, the traditional way – by camel. You might see the spectacular pink flamingos and the endangered bald ibis in this region. This 31/2 hour trek takes you through the estuary dunes and forest and past the Royal Palace where the King of Morocco occasionally stays.

Visit to the Old Town of Taroudant
Taradount is an old Berber town surrounded by magnificent, towering walls. Berber hospitality is legendary and nowhere is this more obvious than here in this ancient town which was once the capital of the Saadian Dynasty and perches right on the edge of the Sahara. This tour lasts 41/2 hours, starting with a pick up from your hotel at 8.00 am.

Visit the Ancient Village of Immouzzer
This is a five and a half hour trip during which you will visit the lovely oasis of Tamzargout, followed by a stop for a panoramic view of Paradise Valley, so named by the legendary Jimmy Hendrix in the ’60s, and will arrive in the Berber village of Immouzzer at the foot of the Atlas mountains by about 9.00am. Your English and French speaking guide will take you on a walk to the waterfalls and you will enjoy the natural beauty of the limestone gorges, fresh water streams, rock pools and the olive and banana groves. The Immouzzer tour only goes out on Thursdays to coincide with the weekly market where you will have aunique opportunity to buy Berber handicrafts at village prices.
